I'm twelve months into a divorce. I have no problem paying my fair share of support. But, I get the impression that they think I'm hiding income, that's the card her attorney is playing. My 4 year old business is building hot rod cars, (not a necessity) all my customers are out of state or out of the country, in these economic times I'm happy to be surviving. All transactions are through wire transfer to my company account or checks, no one sends me cash in a shoe box. I also sell a lot of high ticket parts, engines, chassis. These are high dollar items but with very low gross margins. Right now I'm staying with close friends and under court order to pay 90% of my salary in temporary support. (They dont believe my taxes from last year, which my wife's CPA prepared) I cant go on like this much longer. What can I do to convince the Judge that I'm not making a fortune?
