    Question Evicted in May 2009 in Pennsylvania

    Am I really responsible for paying the remainder of the lease period (from May 2009 tru November 2009) even when the new tenants moved in the same day that the judge ordered me to move out by? I always thought that I could be released from having to pay the remainder of the lease when new tenants move in. Also, my former landlord used to help himself into the apartment without notice and that is one of the reasons why i decided not to pay rent and find another place.
