Lease Grace Period??? Louisiana

My girlfriend and I just moved into an apartment on the 1st of June. We were told by the landlord that it was very quiet. We asked this question because our last apartment had major issues in this respect. Earlier this week, we started hearing noises from under us which sounds like a very loud muffled television. We also have a side neighbor who blasts his stereo. Is there any kind of grace period(like 30 days) that will allow us out of our lease?

The terms under which you can exit your lease are contained in that lease. If there's a problem with noise, you need to let the landlord know about it.
