    Default Credit Cards in Middle East Texas

    I am a US citizen and lived in Middle East for a couple of years where I got a Credit Card from a bank there. After a year or so of using and paying my card on time, I found out that there are charges that I did not make. I stopped paying and my assignment was completed so I returned to US. Does the credit card company or the bank that issued the card has any jurisdiction to come after me legally here in US? They never investigated the fraud and only wanted me to pay it which I refused.

    It is very unlikely (very doubtful) a Middle East bank will pursue you in the US for a credit card debt. Generally they can't & it's not worth their time & money anyway. They normally mark it as a "charge off" on their records. However; if you return to the Middle East, they may very well take further action against you.
