    Default audio recording North Carolina

    Hello i need help with a question, can you tape record a person to person conversation if only the person recording is aware of the recording ? and will it be submisible in court if the other party admits fault to a crime ?? thanks to anyone who responds ! im having a hard time getting a straight answer.

    The tape recording is apparently legal since NC is a one-party consent state.

    You might want to talk to an attorney re using it in court.

    thanks, I have seen this online but wasnt sure of the acuracy. now if i press charges and the person is found not guilty can they take legal action against me ? im confident i could win with the evidence i will obtain but still a concern. thanks
