Im trying to find out if there is any law out there that requires a certain amount of sleep time between working shifts.

For general employment, no, there is not. No state has any laws regarding required time off between shifts. There are certain industry specific exceptions for positions where there is a public safety factor, such as airline pilots, long haul truck drivers, in some states nurses. There are also some such restrictions for minors.
