I made my daughter stay home from school andwork today and her boss said he needs a doctors note. she has only called out one other time. her boss is saying if she doesnt get a doctors note he will write her up.
can I give her a note, can they do that? |

No I am not her doctor, but she was throwing up everywere.
I am a qualified health practitioner and a mother and dont believe in passing on a stomach bug nor do i believe every time some one is Ill it means a trip to the doctors to pass the germs on there! |

If you are asking whether or not it is legal for them to request a doctor's note for a one-day absence, yes it is.
If you are asking whether they are required by law to accept your note instead of one from a doctor, no they are not. If neither of these is your question please clarify. |
