Angry not paid when supposed to be Utah

Please help! If you do not get a paycheck in the mail on your pay date, can the company make you wait before they cut you a check for your hours worked? If so is there a maximum number of days that they can make you wait?

There is no "maximum" days in the law. The employer generally meets the payday requirement under the law if the check is postmarked no later than payday.

How long has it been since it was mailed and how far did it have to go? Many companies wait at least 7-10 days after mailing before they will place a stop payment and reissue.

Does the employer not offer direct deposit?
