What are the rules for a salaried position in Vermont? Are they any different from the federal rules?

That's kind of a vague question. Can you be more specific?

In order to change an hourly position to a salaried position, what rules, regulations, etc. do we need to look at and abide by? Are the federal rules the only ones that apply or are there additional Vermont state rules that apply as well? If so what are they?

Right now salary and hourly are meaningless. Are these positions Exempt or Non-Exempt ?

I believe what you are asking is going from a non-exempt to an exempt position, is that right?

Yes, this would be an exempt, salaried position.
