    Default 19yo left home, support question

    My 19 year old daughter decided to move out of my home about 1 year ago. She moved in with my 25 year old daughter. She was living with me since she was 10 years old, when I got sole custody of her. I was never married to her mother. Her mother has never paid her court ordered child support, because she is on public assistance.

    My question is: If my daughter decides to go live with her mother, can her mother/or social services take me to court for child support?

    mother would have to file for it. and you could always ask that the support you were owed come off what you now owe. chances are she'd still owe
