Default What age can a child decide whom they want to live with?

If I have a court order that my child lives with me, is there a certain age where the child has a right to decide which parent they want to live with?

In every state except Georgia, that age is 18. Judges will typically take a youth's wishes into account, but it is not the child's choice.
Not everything that makes you mad, sad or uncomfortable is legally actionable.

I am not now nor ever was an attorney.

Any statements I make are based purely upon my personal experiences and research which may or may not be accurate in a court of law.
