Final Paycheck for Nevada Public Employee

Is the law different for Nevada public employees? I understand that in the private sector a discharged employee receives their final paycheck immediately, but I"m hearing that public employers in Nevada don't follow that rule.

It's very possible. You can contact the state Dept. of Labor to confirm.
