Can an employer force you to live within X miles of your job location?

No. But they can fire you/refuse to hire you if you don't.

No, I work for a financial institution.

Do you know if there is a limit to the number of miles an employer can require that you live within? For example, legally can they require I live within 60 miles, 30 miles, etc.
