Exclamation Denied annual raise related to short-term leave

I have worked for the same company in florida for the last 5 years. My date of hire was 1/17/2000. I have worked fulltime except for one maternity leave for 4 weeks and another matrnity leave for 6 weeks. In January I started working 23 hours per week instead of full-time. On my second maternity leave I was not given the annual raise because of my Leave that I had taken that year. Is this legal? Also my anniversery date was changed in both situations and they are denying me my vacation and sick-day benefits which we get after each working year. Thanks

Default Denial of Benefits

It is only illegal if they do not treat others who are on leave for reasons other than maternity the same.
