Situations -- Closings have taken place, commissions paid to Broker, Broker cut check, however when notified that agent was tranferring agencies broker refused to release checks stating that she needed to check what office bill was to date and make sure that was paid. Is that legal? I can find no place in the Broker Salesperson agreement that allows for the broker to refuse to pay commissions until they figure out their office billing.
Thanks |
