My husband was recently fired. The employer said they do not have to pay him all accumulated vacation and personal time, because it is not required by the St of NE. Anyone know anything about this ???? Thanks

Nebraska does not have a law requiring unconditional payout of vacation or personal time at termination. Was there a policy that stated it would or would not be paid and, if so, were there any conditions that had to be met?

The employer is correct. Unless there is a policy or agreement that vacation time will be paid out at termination, the law in NE does not require it.
