Default Questionable Reference Tennessee

I worked for a healthcare facility for 11 years, and during that time saw many managers come and go. During that whole time I never received one a reprimand and every evaluation was always very good, well in the last couple of years there was a manager who was not very professional and she and I had conflicts. A few months ago I was downsized and since that time haven't been able to find a job, I suspect she has been giving bad references.
Although I can't prove this, I know that she was reprimanded for some bad behavior that was reported to Corporate Compliance and she is retaliating. If I find that she is giving information that is untrue how do I handle this situation.

Important question. Are you being called for interviews and then, after the interview, not getting the job? Or are you not getting called for interviews?
