Default Salaried overtime in Alabama? Alabama

The company for which I work in Alabama has been bought by a company in Kansas. We are required to work at least 54 hours a week, because it is what they do in Kansas.

As an exempt employee, I am not entitled to overtime in Alabama... correct?

Thank you for your time,
jason

Exempt employees do not get paid any overtime in any state.

Default I was almost certain of that...

That is what I thought, I just needed to hear it from one in the know.

Not the answer I was seeking, but hey you can't always get what you want.

Thank you again,
jason
