Default More Questions Iowa Iowa

The parents nevered married. The mom decided to move out of state. The father never denied paternity. Signed record at birth. The mother moved out of state with her mother. They visit the home state once a year and let the child see the father and grandparents 1-2 days. Other than that the only communication is phone and mail. There never was a court decree for custody..only child support. What if the dad said no, I want her more than 2 days (as he always does; but to no avail)? Would he face arrest?

he coooould possibly- he would be much better to file in the child's county of residence for joint custody and a set visitation schedule- they MAY even be able to mediate and agrrement for very little cost.
