I live in Illinois and I have been working for my employer for about 3 years. I am pregnant and due in April. My work does not pay maternity leave. I am on a tight budget and can not afford to be off work without pay. Is there any form of short term disability or unemployment I can draw during my leave so I can still make my bills? Any reply will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, no. Congrats on the pregnancy and I'm sorry to say that there isn't any public program that I am aware of.
