Default lunch hour
in iowa can an employer provide the meal to the crew and still charge them a 30 minute lunch hour even if they eat on the run.(truck drivers)

If the meal is duty free, then yes, they can still deduct this time regardless of where the food came from. If the employee is performing work while eating, then they need to be paid for that time.
