Overtime In California

HELLO, i work for a construction company in san diego and they say the 8 hours law doesn't apply to construction companys. i never heard of this before and had a problem with another company before and their lawyer said i was right they gave me what they owed me. so here is my question, Did the california law change since 2000? is my company wrong? please let me know if you know. thanks the man

As may be seen, construction workers are not on either list. The only exception may be if you are an exempt employee working for the construction company, such as a manager or someone otherwise in authority.

thank you. i like the company i am with but if i am entitled to something that i earn i want it. so they are wrong. how do i get my money?
