Our small business might be involved in a lawsuit from a small group of disgruntled employees that have set us up by going to doctors, feigning stress and emotional distress to them (telling us other reasons they were distraught) and then stealing their employee records. It doesn't look so good for us, even though we are good people. Just didn't watch everything perfectly and these folks are out to make some money.

Question: If we put our business and home in a trust, does that save them from being eaten in a lawsuit? If not, please give me suggestions. I am trying to remain happy and hopeful but vacilate between that and panick. We are going to an attorney tomorrow...just found out about the stolen employee records yesterday...
