  • California- family buying foreclsoure?

If a home is foreclosed on and goes back to the back. Could a family member buy that house? Is that legal? If you knew someone doing this- where would you report them to- if illegal?

As I told you on your other thread try this CA Landlord/Tenant site

      not the same topic

I want to know if the landlords family can purchase the home after foreclosure- this has nothing to do with me being a tenant. Please read the initial question again- thanks

That site (if you looked at it) has much information. Some of which may cover your issue. Yes I read your question.

          Then here...

Anyone with money may buy the house regardless of the relationship to the initial owner.

          Nothing illegal here.
Not everything that makes you mad, sad or uncomfortable is legally actionable.

I am not now nor ever was an attorney.

Any statements I make are based purely upon my personal experiences and research which may or may not be accurate in a court of law.

It is usually put on auction to the highest bidder.
