  • Petition sent back from Vermont to UK

OK, I've just received my entire petition today in the mail from
    Vermont.

both me and my wife are present in the UK and have been told we cannot
    DCF in London (long story).

Anyway I sent the petition to Vermont and they've sent it back stating
that they do not have jurisdication.

I think this is because we put my wifes UK address on the I-130.

please could you help me with some of these questions so I can send it
    back to Vermont

    1. My wife came here at the end of April 2004, but she still maintains
her american residence (she lived with her parents)
Should we put my wife's US address in part B1 of the I-130?

    2. We are currently living together in the UK.
So what do we put in B21 in I-130? (address and date wise)?

    3. In my wifes G-325A how do we fill in the applicants last 5 years
residence part? and last residence outside of US part?

    4. My wife currently works here in the UK. and she has previously
worked in the States. So how do we fill in the employment parts in
    the G-325A ?

    many thanks in advance...

Petition sent back from Vermont to UK

We had to put my wifes residential address in the USA as her main address
because her UK visa was a "temp leave to remain". Luckily she lived with
parents and all the mail goes there even though she lives here with me now.
    (She arrived June 2004).
As for the DCF same happened to us via London so we wnt through California
(I-130 sent November and now awaiting D-230 part one which NVC said would be
    posted out this week).

When I filed via DCF I wasn't sure which address went on the I-130. The
(then) INS worker told me to use my US address. I suspect your Vermont
app will be accepted if you put the US addy in.
I included my address abroad in my G-325. USCIS calls it 'temporarily
      resident abroad'.
