It's too variable to be able to say. I got my NOA2 in 8 days
as did someone else who filed the same day as me. Other people have
taken two or three months and I think Whistlestop was much longer.

From the USCIS website: Vermont is now processing applications dated
      december 4th.
From the latest examples, it seems the whole process takes an average
      of 3 months.

Of course, the Internet also tells us that hot naked women want to befriend us, so we can't be 100% sure about everything we read there. (Dave Barry)

All vermont timelines will be different, but as you've been advised
already, dave hollis' site is the best one to get an idea.

Besides the vermont wait, your fiancee's country will also account for
time differences between your visa process and others (some consulates
are very fast, some are very slow).

Here's my own vermont timeline if you're interested (I was one of the
rare cases that wasn't approved in under 3 weeks):

                      K1 timeline

                      2003

                      July 16 ........ NOA2

                      July 22 ........ NVC

July 24 ........ Consulate received & registered it

                      August 12 .... Packet 3 arrived

on week 13 and still no SSN: "not in the system")

October 24 .... Applied for marriage license

                      year

December 30 . Brought my daughter with her k2 with my first use of AP.
                      Houston POE *hell*

January 20 .... Fingerprinting. Also went to SS office and they re-filed
for a new SSN - I should hear from them in 3 weeks
