    New York City AOS timelines

Hi I'm new here and thanks for everyone's interesting input and I learned a lot from here. Just wondering if we could set up a designated thread for timelines for New Yorkers who are currently in the black hole of waiting for an interview date. It seems to me NBC or NYC is processing simutaniously three time frame cases: those with RD before 2002 (group-A); RD in mid 2003 (group-B); and early 2004 (group- C). I've seen people are getting their interview letters throughout all the three timeframes. Anyway, my timeline is: K1: AOS RD 09/26/03 FP recieved 11/06/03
Here's mine in the sig. Interview in just a few weeks!

Just want to ask if anyone knows a complete medical exam needed for AOS interview? In my case, we filed the initial AOS application some 18 months ago at NYC, the medical is close to 2 years old. I know there is this USCIS memorandum about the extension of the validity of I-693, but strictly, as K1, I had the medical done overseas and the form was not "I-693". Anyone can help on this. Many thanks.
You need the vaccination supplement. We did 25 months on the medical
from getting it to interview in '00 and didn't need a new one. However,
today you are required to get a new vaccination supplement.

AOS Mailed to NYC: 11 March 2002 NOA from MSC: 5 February 2004 BIO done: 23 March 2004 Nothing further. 31 Months and counting.
Do New Yorkers normally get the 10 year card then because usually they
get thier interview after the 2 year marriage anaversary.

My timeline is: RD for AOS from NYC: Sep 2002 BIOS Appts: April 2004, July 2004 AOS Interview: August 2004 (Approval Pending due to security clearance) Its Feb. 2005 and still waiting. Questions: 1. Did you get your clearance yet? 2. How does one check the status of Fingerprinting? I see some of them here listing when USCIS received the results. How does one find that? 3. My lawyer is going to send a CIS Inquiry about the status. Is it advisible to have my congressman do the same? Please let me know. Thanks.
Sorry to reply so late here is a thread which will help you uncover the
whole FBI Fingerprint/Name Check saga, and it also gives you multiples
hints on how to check on the status of both. Check the PDF files on the
              first post.

and the response to your first question is "No"!

I think those of us who applied in 2002 should start a protest outside Federal Plaza. I mean this is just ridiculous that we are waiting so long. It is adding years onto our wait for citizenship. The USCIS website is still processing August 2002, and that date is advancing at a snails pace. To make matters worse I am about to move to San Francisco. Does anyone know what happens to my application? Do I advance to the top of the line or the bottom once my application is moved?

And 30 months and still waiting!!!!!!!!!!

Timeline as follows: Married NYC: 04/01/03 AOS app rec'd: 05/19/03 BIOs and Fingerprinting: March 04 I am well aware that some people have been waiting a very long time - over a year longer than I have - But I'm just wandering...after how months do you wait before contacting a political representative? My wife [USC] thinks it is crazy that people who got married after us have got their interview or GC and wants to contact our politcal representative now. I'm more inclined to wait.
                      [QUOTE=ambrosia]Timeline as follows:

UPDATE: I got an AOS interview letter for MAY 31st 05 in Garden City,
just after I e-filed for my 3rd EAD...typical. Now I've got toget me
                      checklist together.

You mean they gave you only a few weeks notice before the interview?

Yep, just a few weeks. Which hopefully isn't enough time to get too
                          stressed about it.
                          Maybe I got a cancellation? I don't know.

We got 6 days notice. A "few weeks" would have been a luxury!

I applied in NYC for AOS at May 08 2003 and my status was always
                              available online.
All of a sudden my status got changed.

                              "Case Status
