We went for my wife's AOS interview in the New York City BCIS office
on the 21st of May, 2003. We passed and my wife got her passport
stamped. The examiner told us that we would receive my wife's green
card in about 3 weeks. A month later and still no green card. How
    long did yours take?

    TIA,
    Greg & Mary Jo<<

I waited about almost 2 months . Don`t you worry if they put the stamp on her passeport . You will get it on the mail .I think the stamp is valid fro 1 year so if you want to go somewhere just go and when you enter us just show them the stamp , that`s what I did .
    Good luck
