  • Another NSC I-751 Approval

    Hello Everyone!
Yeah, after almost 16 months of waiting I just received my approval
letter for our joint-filed I-751 without the need for an interview.
Receipt date was 19 December 2003 and the approval date March 1 2005.

I already booked an InfoPass appointment for April 29 in Des Moines,
Iowa to have the green card processed.

They suggest to bring 2 extra passport-style photos if you need a
temporary card. Has anyone ever done that? I heard that the turn-around
times on the actual cards is rather quick now, but I think it might not
be the worst thing to get the temp one anyway.

The next step is applying for Naturalization that I could have done
quite awhile ago. I just did not get my paperwork from the German side
back yet as I do not want to loose my citizenship there. I will come
    back when I get there!

Thank you everyone for your knowingly and unknowingly help. I do not
post very often but I come and read daily. Without this board everything
would be a lot harder to accomplish!

A great day for I-751s.. Congratulations & WooHoo to you!
      HI,
Thanks! Overall there have been a great number of I-751 approvals from
Nebraska during the last few weeks. More than 15 months is quite a long
time for a wait. I am not complaining ... hehe.

For all those still waiting: Hang in there! Soon it will all be over!

        I filed my I-751 November 21st, 2003 with Lincoln NE and I still haven't
heard anything from them on it.

I have, however, filed N-400 within that time as well so maybe the N-400
is holding up the I-751 ?

          Any TSC I-751 approvals lately

TSC seems to be making false claims about I-751 processing. My NOA date
is April 23, 2004 and I have not yet heard anything. The TSC website
shows NOA processed as of May 3,2004 and new AILA times show that TSC
is now upto May 24,2004 which is b-u-l-l-s-h-i-t. Has anybody heard
from them so far who filed last year in april 2004. On other websites I
read the same crap about TSC. I am thinking about legally suing them
now as all these times shown are false or at least not applicable to
          majority of folks

It'd be pretty hard to illegally sue them, don't you think? That said,
the dates are guideposts only so, even if they're misleading, there's
not a whole lot you can do about it. Getting angry only frustrates you
but it doesn't hurt them in the least. Breathe deeply... let it go.
