Are you married to the father? If so, you can file for an order. However, CS usually cannot be ordered before an out of wedlock birth because paternity must be legally established first. That cannot be done until the child is born.

One thing you can do though, is file for CS as soon as the baby is born and you can request retro support (if your state allows retro).

If you are the male, the above also holds true to a degree.

If married to the mother, you are assumed to be the father. If you are not married, you have to wait until the child is born to establish paternity.

You cannot establish an out of wedlock paternal relationship prior to the birth of the child.
Not everything that makes you mad, sad or uncomfortable is legally actionable.

I am not now nor ever was an attorney.

Any statements I make are based purely upon my personal experiences and research which may or may not be accurate in a court of law.
