Because you have a court order.

Not a court "suggestion". It's an ORDER.

And your children should NOT be deciding. You are the parent - not them.

If she's not paying court ordered support, file contempt for non-payment.

so you're saying it's right to send children into an abusive situation where the courts bring in extra court officers when she's in court and social services has a restraining order against her for assaulting more than 1 social worker. ok, the courts are always right i guess.

Please. You can drop the attitude anytime you want - remember we're volunteers here and we're not the ones who have been in the court-room deciding your issues.

Nobody is suggesting it's right to send children into an abusive situation.

But you have a court order. You obey the court order. If there is GENUINELY abuse present, you get child services involved and they will investigate. If it is determined that there is no risk, then that's that.

And really - what you think is abusive might not meet the LEGAL definition of abuse. Please bear that in mind.
