  • HELP!! Pennsylvania

Hello I am currently in a situation which is not comfortable with me. I live with my sister but technically my dad has custody of me. I do not want to live with my father. I want to live with my mother but she lives in ohio and has no custody of me. I would like to move very soon and I and just wondering if i could decide which parent i wanted to live with since i am 17 years of age.

The age at which you can make a binding decision about where to live is when you are 18, not 17.

Until you are 18, you live where your parents say you live. That can be with your mother, your sister, your father or somewhere else, but you cannot move anywhere without the permission of your parent/legal guardian until your 18th birthday. Then, you can live anywhere you want.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
