    Please Help! Colorado

Im 20 and my wife is 18, we are currently divorcing and our son was born 6/2/10. Shes been unemployed since 2 mos before her pregnancy and has no desire to start working any time soon. she lived with her new boyfreind during pregnancy and admitted to doing drugs. Shes currently living with her grandparents 60 miles outside of the city, and her whole family has a history of Domestic violence. She didnt call to tell me he was born until they were being discharged from the hospital, said I could see him for a minute. Then when I got to the hospital, she called security and tried to get me kicked out. Shes made several threats that if I dont do what she wants me to then Ill never see my son. Theres alot of other reasons I think hed be better off with me, but I dont want to go too much into detail. I have a steady job, a place of my own and an outstanding support system behind me. What do I need to do to get my son out of that situation?

OP told to keep all questions/posts together in one thread.
(It might be kind of confusing to combine all 3 threads now.)

    Thanks, Betty!

Now, if only OP can follow the instructions!

You're certainly free to talk to a lawyer. Sometimes we don't get complete information in what is posted.

If kiddo is in her custody right now, you'll generally have to prove that she's legally unfit before you'll be awarded physical custody.

Frankly nothing you've said here will prove that Mom is unfit.
