When you say "compensation" do you mean pay, or time off?

Employers must pay overtime on the regular payday for which it was earned. For example, if your employer pays your regular wages biweekly, then every two weeks, any overtime pay you earned in the same period is also due.

If you are a salaried employee/manager, there is bascially no limit to the amount you can be expected to work.
