  • Massachusetts Sunday pay law

I just started a job with an inventory company on a part time basis. During my training they said that they followed all state laws with respect to pay.
My first day on the job was a sunday night doing an inventory, I ended up working 5.2 hours. When I got my payheck the next week I was paid straight pay for hours worked and no sunday bonus pay. Since I just started I don't want to ask a dunb question. But this sunday, I am going to be working again and I would like to know if I should be getting time and a half for sunday.
This job is in Massachusetts and I wouldn't call my job, retail per say.
    Anyone have any thoughts ??

Actually, that site sucks, and is a horrible answer to a direct question.

You might as well link to google.com

And since the question is from over four years ago, and the situation is most likely resolved now, what was the purpose of your response?
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
