    Can an employer reduce regular pay (promised pay) to minimum wage on a final paycheck? Does employee have to be notified and acknowledge the reduction in pay? I've been looking everywhere and I can't seem to find an answer to my questions....Please Help..

    That is not inherently illegal, and since FL has next to no wage and hour laws it's questionable whether there is a notice requirement. There is definitely no requirement that you acknowledge it. A position has been taken that this *may* violate contract law (though it does not violate employment law) but only a FL attorney could comment on that and we have no FL attorneys who post here. You might see if you can consult with one if you want to pursue the issue.
