  • Washington YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS Labor Law Poster

You can apply for unemployment benefits over the phone or on the Internet.
Apply for unemployment benefits over the phone by calling an Unemployment Claims TeleCenter. You will need to have the names and addresses of all of your employers for the last two years, as well as the dates you worked for each and the reason(s) you left.

If your Social Security Number ends with 0-3, call on Monday; 4-7, call on Tuesday; 8-9, call on Wednesday. Please call on your designated day; however, if you miss your designated day, you may call Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the same week without any delay in payment. Customers with active claims may call on any business day.

We are available to help you Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on state holidays.

If your work hours have been reduced to part-time, you may qualify for partial unemployment benefits. If you have been unemployed due to a work-related injury or non-work-related illness or injury and are now able to work again, you may be eligible for special unemployment insurance benefits. To apply, call your local TeleCenter following the receipt of your last time-loss payment.
