I work for a Tennessee company and I was wonder can a employee make u take a break longer than thirty. All most on a daily basic my employer makes me take 45min and even 1hour bReaks for labor and no overtime purposes is that legal?

It is 100% legal. No employer is required to allow you to work overtime, and they can require you to take whatever breaks they want you to take.

    In all 50 states.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
