  • Forfeiture of Vacation days upon termination Oregon

I recently posted my notice at work and have discovered that my company has a policy of forfeiture of vacation days upon termination (voluntary or otherwise). I'm trying to find the Oregon Labor Code that specifies vacation regulations, but all I've found thus far is here-say. Anyone have a linkie?

Vacation pay, holiday pay, bonuses, sick leave, and severance pay are examples of wage agreements that may be made between employers and employees. There is no requirement that employers offer them. Employers are required to honor any established policy or agreement relating to the payment of benefits such as accrued vacation pay upon termination.

use it lose it - No laws prohibit such policies
