I am currently a Safety/Process Manager with 2 associates that report to me. I have been with the company since 2001. I have been told that due to performance review that was received on Dec. 16th (previous one was received in 2005), that I will be demoted. I will still be responsible for the same job duties, however I will not manager the process's and will be considered at the same level as the 2 that reported to me. I will remain on as a Salary associate with a reduction of $7000 per year.
My question is - if i turn down this demotion, will it be considered termination from the company, or that I have quit.
