  • being forced to quit

I have been working at a grocery store for about 15years with no discipline on my record. about a year ago I was promoted to Scan co ordinator I was doing a good job with no complaints from my manager 2 months ago my manager said i was not cut out for this job and demoted me to cashier and cut my pay to a lower rate than I was making prior to the promotion. Now my hours are being drastically cut, more than less senior employees work the same job. is there anything I can do beside Quit like they want me to do.

On the basis of the facts you have submitted, no. It may be unfair but nothing you have described violates any laws.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
