I am new to the forum....I am an electrician working in the state of Florida....I travel 3 and a half hours on Monday morning to get to my job on the other side of the state...I leave my house around 3:00 in the morning to get to the job by 7:00AM.....I stay in a hotel during the week and pay for everything......I drive my own personal vehicle and receive no compensation for gas, tolls, food, hotel or phone....Is my employer obligated to pay any of these expenses?

    Thanks

    Legally, no.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
