  • not getting paid on time Ohio

I have not been paid on time since July. Sometimes a day or two this time was two weeks late. My understanding is work done from the 1st to the 15th half to be paid by the 1st of the next month. I was last paid on the third for my work done from the 1st to the 15th. I want to know what my options are. Can I file for unemployment since Im not getting paid on time?

No. But you can file a complaint with the state DOL.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.

You can't file for UI if you're working. Don't know why you've waited so long, but contact the Ohio Dept. of Labor immediately.
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.

What are they going to do for me? He's paying me but not on time.

They're going to make him pay you on time.
