  • How many copies do I need to file with the court? Washington

The court requires an original copy of the petition schedules and statement of financial affairs for a chapter 7, chapter 11, chapter 12 and chapter 13 case.
Local Bankruptcy Rule 9013-1 provides that when an original motion, supporting documents or other pleadings are filed in the Clerk's Office two copies must be served on the judge's chambers. With the implementation of Electronic Case Files (ECF) Judge Thomas T. Glover no longer requires copies to be served on chambers. Judge Karen A. Overstreet only requires paper copies when they exceed 25 pages in length.
