  • Business in Trouble Oklahoma

I am a single mother who owns a small business that has taken some major financial hits and I strongly feel that filing backruptcy is my only way out. I don't know what to do but I need to do it fast before we lose everything. I need advice.

You would need to provide way more details for anyone to give good advice.

I very strongly suggest you don't do that here.

You should seek the advice of a CPA.

Briefly, you may be making a profit but having a cash flow problem. That can be fixed without bankruptcy, but it may not be easy.

OTOH, if your business is not profitable, you may as well cut your losses. I can't say for sure if bankruptcy is best (I would not even consider it unless that was the only alternative).

I appreciate your response. I have a CPA who has done nothing but put me further behind and small towns are too networked when you're not a local and finding other professionals to work for you costs. Thanks though.

Then go hire a bankruptcy attorney.
