  • Best and worst states for lawsuits against delinquent consumer debtors

Do credit card companies sue delinquent consumer debtors a lot more in
some states than others, because of differences in state laws?

In other words, would the same major national credit card provider,
such as Bank of America, with customers in different states, sue a lot
more in one state than another similar state, because the laws and
rules governing such lawsuits are more favorable to them in one state
    than another?

If the answer is yes, does it imply that they put a lot more time and
effort into negotiating with the customer in the state where they're
    less likely to sue?

In which states are they most and least likely to sue?

Are there any websites that present good details and summaries of such
issues? Google finds a lot, but how can we tell which are good? Does
anyone have any recommendations of such websites and/or other such
    resources?

I watch Suze Orman on the weekends and I think her website has information about the statute of limitations for creditors to sue customers for delinquent debt.
