What is the statute of limitations at which date I will be safe from having a credit card creditor sue me over this debt?

More & more states/courts are starting to consider credit cards (except store cards - ie Sears) as written contracts & not an open account. The SOL on a written contract in Wa. is 6 years (3 years open acct.). You would have to contact a lawyer in your area to see how the courts there are classifying credit cards.

However, you noted in your prior thread you had only stopped paying sometime over 6 mos. ago so the SOL would not be elapsed either way.
