>You prove my point. Your paltry acknowledgement of foul legislation istokenism, tongue in cheek indifference used merely to insult.>>
Bwahhhahahah.
Di, would you like to see legislative changes in the US? You whine bitterly,
incessantly about laws here that relate to adoption. If you and your buddies
really want to make a difference you need to reveal your plan.
If you want to help Melinda, find out who authored the Kansas law that passed
the Kansas legislature that made voluntary relinquishments irrevocable once
signed and write to him or her. Get that name, address and phone number and
post it here and everywhere you visit. Ask people to contact that person or, if
that person is no longer a member of the Kansas legislature, the people who
are. Find out which committees review adoption legislation before it goes to
votes. Contact those committees starting with the chair people. Write sample
letters and share them because most people have difficulty composing letters
and, thus, never get around to contacting law makers.
Granted, you are not a US citizen and some may very well discount anything you
say. But, there is no reason you cannot attempt to rally the people of Kansas.
If you find out who chairs the legislative committee that reviews proposed
legislation related to adoption in Kansas, I will write a letter myself
denouncing irrevocable-once-signed voluntary relinquishments.
Get busy. You can start by googling "Kansas Legislature".Do these things or
shut up, please.
