Random screeching, incessant whining, generalized verbal assault never changed
anything. If Melinda or anyone else genuinely wishes to initiate change, as
opposed to merely hearing themselves rant, it starts with getting the attention
of legislators. You gotta be specific. You have to offer to help write
legislation or ask to speak to committees. You have to make phone calls and
write letters to the people who make laws, not threaten the entire world with a
trip to the UN to *****. There is a huge difference between ranting and
actually working toward change. The first is cheap and easy. In fact, morons do
it all day. The second is hard. It requires focus, energy, tenacity and the
willingness to give of one's resources, particularly time.
