Does anyone know what happens in a trial for opposing child relocation. Someone else told me to get prepared for it, but my husband and i have never been to trial, and dont know what is expected of us.

If is you opposing the other parent from moving to another state of a certain distance away, then the other parent will have to show why this move would be benificial to the child and the family. You will need to be prepared to say why you don't want the child moved away.

Im just trying to figure out if in louisiana, if custody hasnt been set in court, but the parents had an agreement , if the relocating parent has to give notice.

That would mean that EACH parent is entitled to have physical possession the child[ren] an EQUAL amount of time unless the court orders something different.
